areas of development
The program is organized into different work areas that address the dancer’s technical, physical, creative, and interpretive development.
We work with a professional focus on excellence, integrating established methodologies such as the Vaganova method and the English RAD method. Alignment, postural placement, coordination, balance, and core control are refined, while developing elasticity, line extension, musicality, precision, and spatial awareness. This foundation supports classical practice and facilitates adaptation to neoclassical and contemporary languages.
Focuses on fluidity, mobility, and organic transition between movements, exploring speed, range, energetic continuity, and the relationship with musicality and space, expanding the dancer’s expressive freedom.
Enhances an expressive and technically prepared body, working on suspension, weight management, floor work entries and exits, turns, spring, and inversions. It integrates the exploration of energy flow, gesture range, and movement quality, fostering expressive freedom and artistic sensitivity.
Complements technical training with strength, endurance, flexibility, and body awareness work, optimizing performance and preventing injuries.
A space led by the teacher or choreographer, where students participate in creation and staging processes from the guide’s artistic vision, integrating musicality, dramatic intent, relationship with space, and group cohesion.
Stimulates creativity through guided improvisation, movement analysis, and the exploration of multiple possibilities, encouraging the development of original material and artistic thinking. Priority is given to the creative process, research, and individual expression, charging movement with intention, energy, and meaning.
Partner work combining classical technique and contemporary dynamics. It develops coordination, strength, balance, suspension, lifts, turns, catches, and choreographic variations, integrating musicality and postural placement. It fosters the connection between dancers, active listening, and the synchronization of impulses, strengthening technique, expressiveness, and stage presence.
